Christopher Miers and Murray Armes are accredited Mediators by CEDR.  Unusually, mediations can be conducted following an arbitration or adjudication, before the decision is disclosed, in the form of Arb-Med or Adj-Med.

Christopher Miers regularly undertakes Institute and ad hoc appointments as Mediator. He is the author of the Mediation section of the Architect’s Legal Handbook and is on the panel of the mediators at the RIBA, CEDR and Resolex.

Probyn Miers is also able to provide party appointed expert services in support of the mediation process, including attending the mediation meeting itself if required.  We are experienced in the particular needs of expert evidence at mediations, including those mediations conducted very early on in the dispute resolution process.
